Some of our kittens give us so much joy we can’t help but laugh. This one baby girl does just that. I’m not sure if it’s her goofy expression or her dancy body, but she gives me joy. She is just so fluffy!!!

Shortbread is a blue lynx mitted female. At 7 weeks & 4 days she weighs 2.08 lbs. We expect her to be substantial in size and coat without being too wooly. Her fur is thick, but the line does not produce matting. Blue lynx point kittens usually become the most beautiful adults. Her major flaw physically is obviously her round eyes. She should have a more almond-shape eye.

Shortbread was a little nervous for her solo photo session, but I saw her relax once her siblings joined in. This tells me she is her best self in the company of others. I imagine she would do well with a home already having pets–cats or dogs. Not an absolute necessity, though.

Her mother, Ponyo, likes attention and affection. She does not like to be alone and gently reminds us when she needs more facetime. I suspect this litter will share this quality. Sometimes, they look like deer in the headlights, but this is part of their appeal. They look serious but play like kiddos even into adulthood.
